Winter Storms and Your Roof

Winters in Northwest Ohio can play havoc on your homes, especially your roof. Snow storms can drop several inches of snow in a short period of time. Sometimes the snow may be a light fluffy snow that blows away quickly and other time the snow can be a very wet and heavy snow. This was the case with this building that had several inches of ice and snow built up in the valleys of their roof.  As the Ice begins to melt water can seep into you home, into the insulation , walls, ceilings and the damage can be significant. In this case we were able to put a tarp on the roof and begin drying the structure to prevent further damage and the customer was able to call in a Roofing company to repair the roof.
